How the library works

Every prompt has three parts: the copy-paste text, one line on when to use it, and [blanks in cerise] you fill with your own details. Use these inside your My Business Project with your voice guide active. Nothing here is decorative — if a prompt didn't earn its place, it isn't here.

01 Long-form writing 12 PROMPTS

Claude's home turf. Prompts 1–12.

1 · Blog post via interview
When you want a post that sounds like you actually lived it.
Interview me about [topic] like a magazine journalist — one question at a time, 6–8 questions, push past vague answers. Then write a [800-word] blog post from my answers, using my words and stories wherever possible.
2 · Newsletter from bullet points
Weekly email in 10 minutes instead of 90.
Turn these bullets into this week's newsletter in my voice: [paste your messy bullets]. 300–400 words, one idea per paragraph, end with one soft CTA to [link/offer]. No hype words.
3 · The about page that doesn't cringe
The hardest page on any website.
Interview me for my about page — 6 questions about why I started, who I serve, and what I believe that my industry gets wrong. Then draft it: warm, specific, zero "passionate about empowering." Written to make my ideal customer feel seen, not to impress my peers.
4 · Sales page, section by section
Big page, built in pieces you can actually review.
We're writing a sales page for [offer, price, who it's for]. Work one section at a time and wait for my approval before the next: (1) headline options, (2) the problem, (3) the offer, (4) what's included, (5) FAQ, (6) final CTA. Start by asking me 5 questions.
5 · Welcome email for new subscribers
The most-read email you'll ever send.
Write my welcome email for new subscribers who joined via [freebie/source]. Warm, personal, one short story about why this exists, what to expect, and one thing to do next. 250 words max, my voice guide applies.
6 · Repurpose one piece five ways
Squeeze a week of content from one good post.
Here's a piece I wrote: [paste]. Repurpose it into: (1) an email, (2) an Instagram caption, (3) a Pinterest pin title + description, (4) a LinkedIn post, (5) three short hooks for future posts. Keep my voice; change the shape, not the soul.
7 · Outline first, then draft
For anything long enough to get lost in.
I'm writing [piece] for [audience] to accomplish [goal]. Give me 3 possible outlines with different angles. I'll pick one; then draft section by section, checking in after each.
8 · The story-mining prompt
When you "have nothing to write about."
Ask me 8 rapid-fire questions about my last two weeks of work — small wins, annoyances, customer conversations, things I changed my mind about. Then show me 5 content ideas hiding in my answers, each with a one-line hook.
9 · Case study from a happy customer
Turn one nice message into your best marketing asset.
Here's feedback from a customer: [paste] and what we did for them: [brief facts]. Draft a short case study: situation → what we did → result, in my voice. Flag anything that needs the customer's permission or a number I should verify before publishing.
10 · Launch announcement, three temperatures
Find your announcement's right energy level.
Draft my launch announcement for [offer] three ways: (1) quiet confidence, (2) warm excitement, (3) direct and salesy. Same facts, same length (~200 words). I'll tell you which temperature is right, then we refine that one.
11 · The graceful "no" email
Boundaries without burning bridges.
Help me decline [request — collab, discount, custom work] from [who]. Kind but unambiguous, no over-apologizing, no fake "maybe later" unless I mean it. Offer an alternative only if one exists: [alternative or "none"].
12 · Finish my draft's last 20%
When the piece is written but not done.
This draft is 80% there: [paste]. Don't rewrite it. Tighten flabby sentences, fix the transitions, strengthen the opening and closing, and cut anything repeated. Show me a list of every change you made.
02 Document work 10 PROMPTS

Upload the file (paperclip), then paste the prompt. Claude reads it all — that's the point. Prompts 13–22.

13 · Contract triage
Before you sign anything. (Triage, not legal advice — anything alarming goes to a real lawyer.)
Review this contract as a consultant for the smaller party. List: unusual or one-sided terms, standard protections that are missing, deadlines and auto-renewals I could trip on, and the 5 questions to ask before signing. Flag anything that deserves a real lawyer's eyes.
14 · Action items from a transcript
Meeting or voice-memo transcript → to-do list.
From this transcript, pull every action item: task, who owns it, deadline if mentioned. Then list decisions made, and questions raised but never answered. Table format.
15 · Compare two quotes
Suppliers, contractors, software plans — any A vs B with fine print.
Compare these two quotes [attached]. Build a table of everything that differs — price, scope, timelines, what's conspicuously missing from each. Then: which would you choose for [my situation], and what would you negotiate before accepting?
16 · "What should I ask about this?"
When a document is over your head and you don't know what you don't know.
I don't fully understand this document. Explain what it is and what it means for me in plain English, then give me the 7 smartest questions to ask [the other party / my accountant / the sender] about it.
17 · Summarize for a specific person
Because "summarize this" is only half an instruction.
Summarize this document for [me / my VA / my business partner] who needs to [decide X / do Y]. Lead with what matters for that decision. One page max.
18 · Interrogate your own numbers
Upload a sales/expenses export and get honest patterns.
This is my [sales/expense] data for [period]. What patterns do you see? What's growing, shrinking, or weird? Give me 3 observations I might not have noticed and 2 questions worth investigating. Don't invent numbers — only use what's in the file.
19 · Audit my whole website
Paste every page's text into one message. Long input is fine — that's the superpower.
Here is the full text of my website: [paste all pages]. As a conversion copywriter: where is the message unclear, inconsistent, or underselling? Which page is weakest? Give me the top 5 fixes in priority order, with a rewritten example for the worst offender.
20 · Policy in plain English
Terms of service, platform policy updates, insurance letters.
Translate this into plain English: what changed, what I'm agreeing to, what could cost me money or rights, and what (if anything) I should do about it. Assume I have 5 minutes.
21 · Turn the transcript into an asset
Podcast interview, workshop recording, coaching call.
From this transcript, extract: (1) the 5 best quotable moments, verbatim, (2) a summary in my voice for show notes / a recap email, (3) three social posts built on the strongest moments. Mark timestamps if present.
22 · The document Q&A session
The habit that replaces skimming: upload, then converse.
I've uploaded [document]. I'm going to ask you questions about it. Answer only from the document — if the answer isn't in there, say so instead of guessing. First: what are the three most important things in it?
03 Thinking partner 12 PROMPTS

The category where Claude quietly outclasses everything else. Bring your fuzzy, human, "I don't even know what to ask" problems here. Prompts 23–34.

23 · Decision matrix for a fuzzy choice
Two-plus options, no obvious winner, brain going in circles.
I'm deciding between [options]. First, interview me briefly to find out what actually matters to me here (don't assume). Then build a weighted decision matrix from MY criteria, score the options, and tell me what the matrix says — and whether you'd overrule it.
24 · Pre-mortem my launch
Two weeks before anything important goes live.
It's 3 months from now and my [launch/project] failed. Write the honest story of why — the 5 most plausible failure causes, specific to my plan: [paste plan]. For each: early warning sign + the cheap prevention I could do this week.
25 · Argue both sides, then commit
When you keep flip-flopping.
Question: [should I…?]. Argue FOR properly (150 words), then AGAINST properly (150 words). Then drop the neutrality: given my context, what would you actually do, and what's the strongest reason you might be wrong?
26 · Turn my ramble into a plan
Sunday-night brain. Voice-memo energy. Paste it all.
Here's everything on my mind, unfiltered: [ramble away — long is fine]. Organize this into: what's actually urgent, what's important but not urgent, what's just anxiety wearing a to-do list costume, and a realistic top 3 for this week.
27 · The 5 Whys, kindly
Recurring problem that keeps getting duct-taped.
Problem: [what keeps happening]. Walk me through 5 Whys — one at a time, using my answers, not generic guesses — until we hit the root cause. Then propose one fix at the root, not the symptom.
28 · Stress-test my pricing
Before you publish the number.
I plan to charge $[X] for [offer]. My costs: [rough figures]. My audience: [who]. Stress-test this: what does the math say per sale and per month at realistic volumes, where's the psychological pricing off, and what would need to be true for a higher price to work?
29 · What would she do?
Borrow a sharper perspective for ten minutes.
Answer as three different advisors looking at my situation: [situation]. (1) A ruthless CFO. (2) A brand strategist who plays long games. (3) A friend who knows I'm exhausted. Give each one's honest advice, then note where they agree — that's probably the answer.
30 · The energy audit
When the business works but you're fried.
Here's roughly how I spend my working week: [list activities + hours]. Which tasks are candidates to eliminate, automate, batch, or delegate first — judged by energy cost vs. business value? Be specific about what "automate" would look like for each.
31 · Talk me down or talk me into it
Shiny new idea at 11pm.
New idea: [idea]. Current commitments: [what's already on your plate]. Interrogate me: is this a real opportunity or a procrastination costume? Ask 5 hard questions one at a time, then give your verdict — pursue now, park with a date, or drop.
32 · Prepare me for the hard conversation
Refund dispute, rate raise, ending a collaboration.
I need to have a hard conversation with [who] about [what]. Play them — realistically, including the reactions I'm dreading — and let me practice. After each of my replies, break character briefly to coach me, then resume.
33 · Quarterly review interview
Every 90 days. Calendar it.
Run my quarterly business review as an interview: ask me one question at a time about what worked, what didn't, what I avoided, what surprised me, and what the numbers say [paste any figures]. Then write a one-page review with 3 priorities for next quarter.
34 · The assumption hunt
Before betting real money or months on a plan.
Here's my plan: [paste]. List every assumption it quietly makes — about customers, pricing, my time, the platform, the market. Rank them by "how wrong this could go," and suggest the cheapest way to test the riskiest two before I commit.
04 Business voice 8 PROMPTS

Protecting the way you sound — the asset AI most easily flattens. Prompts 35–42.

35 · Build my voice guide
The Lesson 2 walkthrough, in library form. Do this one first.
Here are 3 samples of my writing: [paste]. Write a voice guide a ghostwriter could imitate me from: rhythm, openings and closings, words I actually use, punctuation habits, humor, and what I never do. End with 5 rules titled "How to write as [name]."
36 · Rewrite, keep my rhythm
When a draft is right but doesn't sound like you.
Rewrite this in my voice (voice guide applies): [paste draft]. Keep the structure and facts. Change the music — sentence rhythm, word choice, warmth. Show the 3 biggest changes you made and why.
37 · De-jargon this
For anything a smart 14-year-old couldn't follow.
De-jargon this for a smart reader outside my industry: [paste]. Replace insider terms with plain language (or a 5-word explanation), cut throat-clearing, keep my tone. Reading level: 8th grade. Don't dumb down the ideas — clarify them.
38 · Make it sound less like AI
The de-robotifier. Run on anything before publishing.
This sounds AI-written: [paste]. Fix it: kill the em-dash pileups, the "In today's world" openers, the rule-of-three sentences, the "it's not just X, it's Y" tic, and any word I'd never say out loud. Make it sound like one specific person wrote it on a Tuesday.
39 · One message, three audiences
Same news, different rooms.
Adapt this announcement for three audiences: [paste]. (1) My email list (warm, they know me), (2) Instagram (skimmers, first line must hook), (3) my professional network (credible, no cutesy). Same facts, same voice, different registers.
40 · The banned-words enforcer
Add to your Project instructions once you know your list.
Add these to your permanent no-list when writing for me: [unlock, elevate, game-changer, dive in, unleash, empower — plus yours]. If a draft needs one of these, find a fresher way. Also flag any phrase you've already used twice in the piece.
41 · Testimonial polish (ethically)
Real praise, tightened — never invented.
Here are real testimonials, verbatim: [paste]. For each, suggest a tightened version (fix typos, trim rambling) that preserves the customer's exact meaning and voice. Mark anything that changes meaning so I can get approval. Never add claims they didn't make.
42 · Voice check before publishing
The last gate before anything goes live.
Check this against my voice guide: [paste final draft]. Score it /10 for sounding like me. List any sentence that fails and why. If it's 8+, say "ship it" and stop — don't invent problems.
05 Learning 8 PROMPTS

Claude as the patient teacher you always wanted. No question is too basic — that's the entire point. Prompts 43–50.

43 · Three depths
Calibrate how much you actually need to know.
Explain [topic] at three depths: (1) two sentences, (2) one paragraph with the key nuance, (3) a full page with the parts practitioners argue about. Tell me which depth is enough for [my purpose].
44 · Quiz me until I get it
Reading isn't learning. Retrieval is.
I just learned about [topic]. Quiz me — one question at a time, increasing difficulty, real-scenario style not trivia. When I'm wrong, don't just correct me: show me why my wrong answer was tempting. Keep going until I get 5 in a row.
45 · Reading path to competent
New skill, overwhelming internet.
I want to go from beginner to genuinely competent at [skill] in [timeframe], with [hours/week]. Build a learning path: what to learn in what order, what to skip as a non-specialist, one practice project per stage, and how I'll know I've reached each stage.
46 · Explain my own industry back to me
Spot the blind spots familiarity creates.
Explain [my industry/niche] to me as if I were an outsider: how the money actually flows, what customers misunderstand, what insiders know but don't say, and what's changing right now. I'll tell you where you're wrong — that's the useful part.
47 · The vocabulary decoder
Every field has 20 words guarding its door.
List the 20 terms I keep encountering in [field] that gatekeep understanding. For each: plain-English meaning in one line, plus the one thing people misuse it to mean.
48 · Steelman what I disagree with
Understand a position properly before rejecting it.
I disagree with [position]. Steelman it: the strongest, most honest case for it, made by its smartest advocate. Then the best counterarguments. Then: what would each side say the other misunderstands?
49 · Learn from what I just did
Turn every launch, win, and flop into tuition.
Here's what happened: [describe the launch/project/experiment + numbers if any]. Debrief me like a good coach: what does this result actually tell us, what's noise vs. signal, what would you repeat, and what one thing should change next time?
50 · The weekly 20-minute upgrade
